Use biometric technology to protect your projects – this Optical Fingerprint Sensor (DY-50) will make adding and detecting fingerprints a breeze. These modules are commonly used in vaults. There is a high power DSP (Digital Signal Processor) Chip that can render, calculate, locate and search images. Connect to any microcontroller or TTL Serial system and send data packets to take pictures, detect print content, hash, search and more. And in the case of the optical sensor, you can enroll new “fingers” directly as these sensors support an average of up to 162 fingerprints stored in the built-in flash memory. We'll talk more later.
If you were interested in this biometric reader, but you still don't know its functionality, or don't understand its electronic diagrams, it's time to learn!
